Position Summary

Prevents and responds to incidents; leads emergency readiness.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and drill emergency operations plans.
  • Monitor campus security and build positive relationships.
  • Coordinate with law enforcement and agencies.
  • Maintain incident logs and security systems.
  • Lead prevention, response, and recovery efforts.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Safety/security training or POST (as applicable)
  • First Aid/CPR

Preferred Qualifications

  • NIMS/ICS; CPTED; threat assessment
  • Bilingual

  • Reports to: Varies by district and role
  • Supervises: Varies by role
  • Calendar: Varies (school-year or year-round)
  • FLSA: Exempt/Non-exempt (role-dependent)
