Position Summary

Stewards public resources with transparent financial practices.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage budgets, close, and internal controls.
  • Process payroll/AP/AR and grants per policy.
  • Lead audits, risk, insurance, and compliance.
  • Oversee procurement and financial reporting.
  • Support leaders with accurate fiscal data.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Accounting/finance experience
  • GAAP/GASB knowledge; spreadsheets

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA/CGFM; K‑12 fund accounting
  • ERP/SIS integration experience

Reporting & Work Conditions

  • Reports to: Varies by district and role
  • Supervises: Varies by role
  • Calendar: Varies (school-year or year-round)
  • FLSA: Exempt/Non-exempt (role-dependent)
